BASIC INSTRUCTIONS
mame32b-036b11.zip
- Start by creating a new folder.
- Place in this folder directx3 or higher(x6 for win 95 or 98).
- Unzip the mame32b-036b11.zip emulator and place all its files in this folder.
- When done, you will see number of subdirectories within this folder: roms, samples, etc.
- If you so desire, you can place all of your zipped rom files in the 'roms' subdirectory.
- Now double click on the mame32.exe file.
- Next, go to the mame menu on the top of the screen and click on Options.... Directories.... Insert.
- In turn, keep 'brousing' until you have on line your zipped roms directory, and then press ok....ok. Click on 'available' games, and allow your program to list them.
- Once this action is completed, double click on the game of your choice and follow the on screen instuctions.
- If needed, by the way, adjust the game display by clicking on display and in turn on "Use default option". Adjust as required and return to your setup.
- Now press "view" and then "Default Option". You will see a table of computer settings.

- Double click on the game of your choice.
- When the game screen comes on, click on "Enter" twice, then press "3" for sound, and finally "1" for one player game:

- Unzip the KGEN emulator and place it in the same directory that you created for your MAME.
- Create a SEGA rom directory. Unzip the SEGA roms and place them there
- Start your Kgen98.exe emulator
- When the MAIN MENU comes on the screen, use the cursor keys to highlight the option you like to Enter.First go to CONTROLLERS and set the 'player one joy', then 'calibrate' and 'configure' as necessary. Get back to the MAIN MENU. You can also do that by hitting Esc twice.
- Now highlight the ROMS option, and choose the game of your choice. Remember that when you highlight the two dots, you move up in the directory structure.

ccs64109.zip
- Unzip the ccs64109.zip emulator file and place all its files in a directory of your choice.
- Create a c64 rom directory. Unzip the c64 roms and place them there.
- Double click on the Ccs64_95.bat file to open your pc64 emulator
- When the 64 screen is on your monitor, click on F9 to open the CCS64 MENU. Carefully note all the options in that menu.
- Using the cursor up and down keys, highlight the Load Program option and Enter it.
- Move to the subdirectory of your 64 game images. Press Enter.
- Note: If you can not find your roms subdirectory, move to the end of the present directory until you come to (volume) A:, (volume) B:, etc. Choose the right drive(volume) and press Enter; then proceed as above.
- You should now have on the screen a directory of all of your games in that directory. Highlight the game of you choice and press Enter.
- Enter for reset and load.
- When the computer stops loading, type "run" and press Enter.
- Note #2: If your joystick does not seem to work, you might have to change it from PC Joystick 1 to 2, or the opposite. To do so, get back to menu by pressing F9. Move to Options and Enter. Move to joystick and enter. Highlight the PC Joystick 1 and press Enter. That should change it to the next position. Press Esc to quit the Menu. Continue with your game.

- Place the Pkunzip.exe, DOS4GW.EXE, Gui.pac, and Winzip files in your retrocade directory.
- Place all zipped rom game images in a 'roms' directory within that same retrograde directory.
- Next execute your retro file.
- Once retrocade brings the games on the screen, use the cursor keys to highlight the game of your choice.
- Click on enter. Proceed as requireed.
- If needed, adjust the game requirements by clicking on F2 prior to entering a game.
- You can exit any time by clicking on F4.

MAME32 PROPOSED SETTINGS
Though the actual settings should be based on the system you are using, here is a proposed list of settings that you might like to start with:
UNDER SCREEN:
Set it to Autosize and Full Screen Display.
UNDER SOUND
Sound System:Seal; Seal Audio Device: Direct Sound; Sample Rate:22050; Sample Rate: 8 or 16 bits; Enhancements: Stereo and Use Samples.
UNDER CONTROLLER:
Use Joystick: check; Use Mouse/Trackball: check; Direct Input: Joystick: check.
ADVANCED
Skipping: Lines:0, Columns:0, Rotation:none: Rendering: check all; Horizontal Scan Lines:check; Frame Skipping - Automatic: check.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Use Background: check; Auto Pause: check; Disable MMX: check; Vector: check Anti-alias and Translucency.
Hope that these settings come close to what you need. If not, finetune as necessary.
Now press "OK". Go to the top and press "GAMES"
